On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, Ed Yesu of Atlas Roofing Corp, will present an AIA HSW credited program titled “Fire Testing Requirement for Rigid Foam Plastic Insulation in Chapter 26 of the IBC” at the Citrus Restaurant in Milford, CT.
The program provides a comprehensive overview of the fire testing requirements for rigid foam plastic insulation outlined in Chapter 26 of the IBC. The course will focus on six specific areas; important sections of Chapter 26, types of rigid foam plastic insulation, ASTM E84, NFPA 285, NFPA 286 and how the fire testing requirements impact the use of rigid foam plastic insulation for continuous insulation.
